Storage, for everything
- Store below 25 °C, away from direct sunlight. A bathroom shelf is fine as long as it is not next to a hot window or in the steam of the shower.
- Close tightly after use. Air is what degrades the actives.
- Use within 6 months of opening. The printed date on the base of the jar or on the carton is the one that counts for an unopened product.
- Keep each product in its own container. A refill pouch goes only into its matching Seravane jar.
The order of steps
1. First cleanse, evenings with heavy makeup
Micellar Prep Water on a cotton pad or a reusable round. Always follow with a rinse-off cleanser.
2. Cleanse
Gel-to-Milk Cleanser, one to two pumps on wet skin, morning and night.
3. Exfoliate, on its own nights
One of: the 10% Mandelic Resurface, the Overnight AHA Peel or the Enzyme Polish. Never two on the same night.
4. Treat
Niacinamide 6% Fluid or Ceramide Serum, half a dropper.
5. Eye area
Peptide Eye Balm, a rice-grain amount, tapped along the orbital bone.
6. Moisturize
Barrier Repair Cream, a pea-sized amount, pressed in. The last step at night.
7. Seal, if you are dry
Squalane Oil, 2–3 drops pressed over the cream or mixed into it.
8. Protect, every morning
Fluid Mineral SPF 46, two finger-lengths for the face and neck, as the last skincare step.

Using acids safely
- Patch test on the inner forearm and wait 24 hours before the first use.
- Apply acids in the evening, on completely dry skin.
- One acid per night, and not every night. Start low: one or two nights a week.
- Keep retinoids and vitamin C on different nights from the Overnight AHA Peel.
- Wear sunscreen the next morning.
- If a product stings and stays red, rinse it off and stop. Do not push through it.
If something does not feel right
If your skin burns, swells or stays red after using a product, stop using it and keep everything else off that area until it has settled. If it worsens or does not settle, please see a doctor. Then tell us in the chat, or with the form on our Contact page, which product it was and when you used it, so we can record it and look at the batch. If a product arrives past its printed date, or looks or smells off, do not use it and tell us.
We cannot tell you whether a product is right for you during pregnancy or alongside a prescription. That depends on you, not only on the formula. The full ingredient lists are published so you can take them to your doctor.
