Points are earned on the product total after discounts, rounded down to the whole dollar, and are added when the order ships. Shipping, tax, gift card purchases and the membership fee do not earn points. There is no reward for writing a review; we would rather reviews stay unprompted.

Redeeming spends the points at once and turns them into a discount code, which you enter in the Gift card or discount code field at checkout. The code counts as the order's one code, and like every code it does not apply to sale items. Redeem first, then check out; a code cannot be added to an order that is already placed.
The three tiers

Your tier is set by the points you have earned in the last 12 months, not by your current balance, so redeeming points never moves you down a tier.
The fine print, in plain words
- Sign in before you check out. Guest orders do not earn points and cannot be added to an account afterward.
- A return moves points both ways: points you redeemed on that order come back, and points you earned on it come off.
- Points expire after 12 months without any activity on the account. A signed-in order or a redemption counts as activity.
- Points have no cash value and cannot be transferred between accounts.
- If points look wrong, write to us. Restoring points by hand is done by our rewards team.
Rewards questions
Is the rewards program the same as the membership?
No. The rewards program is free: you earn points on your orders, with no charge. The membership is a paid, recurring fee for member pricing, free shipping on the tiers that include it and a monthly store credit. You can have either or both.
Do subscription orders earn points?
Yes, as long as the subscription is on your account. Each renewal earns 1 point per dollar when it ships.
Can I use a reward code with another code?
No. It is one code per order, so a reward code cannot go on top of a welcome code or a referral code.
Where is my referral reward?
Referral rewards are separate from points. They are released once your friend's first order clears a 10-day review window, and they appear on the Refer a Friend page.
