Questions
It is the same lipid family, ceramide NP with phytosphingosine and squalane, delivered in a fluid instead of a rich cream. It repairs without an occlusive layer, which is why it suits oily skin, humid climates and mornings under sunscreen.
On oily skin or in humid weather, often yes. On dry skin it is a step before the cream rather than a replacement for it. The two share a lipid profile, so they layer rather than compete.
It is formulated to leave no film under SPF. Give it about a minute before the next step, and use half a dropper rather than a full one.
Ceramide NP at 1%, with phytosphingosine. Both are named on the front of the bottle.
Yes, there is no added fragrance.
At half a dropper twice a day, about eight to ten weeks. Use it within 6 months of opening.

Oily, dehydrated
Every barrier product I tried before this was a heavy cream that broke me out. This is a thin fluid, my skin stopped feeling tight, and my sunscreen goes on over it without rolling.

Oily
In this humidity I cannot wear a cream. This is the only thing between my cleanser and my SPF and my skin has never been this even.

Combination
Texture is exactly as described and it sits flat under makeup. I knocked off a star for the price per ml compared with the cream. I do think it is worth it, I just notice it at checkout.

Sensitive
Serum in the morning, cream at night. That combination took my skin from reactive to boring in about three weeks.

Normal, shaves daily
I shave daily and most serums sting or leave a tacky layer. This does neither.

Dry
It is a nice serum but on my dry skin in winter it was not enough by itself, and I did not see much until I added the cream on top. Fine as a step, not a replacement.

Dry, on a prescription retinoid
My dermatologist approved adding it. It is the one step that does not sting on the nights after.

Combination
The formula is five stars. The dropper sometimes pulls up less than I want and I end up dipping twice. Small thing.

Normal to oily
Short ingredient list, no scent, skin feels comfortable. I do not need more than that from a serum.

Oily, wears makeup daily
I use it with the Light–Medium sunscreen and nothing pills. That alone was worth switching.
