Questions
Papain and bromelain are enzymes that loosen the bonds holding dead surface cells in place, so they rinse away. There are no scrub particles, so nothing is dragged across the skin.
It is a different mechanism and a rinse-off, so nothing is left on the skin. Many people who cannot tolerate leave-on acids find they can use it. Patch test first all the same.
It is designed for the weeks you take off acids. If you do use both, keep them on different days and watch how your skin responds.
We do not clear any product for pregnancy. The formula contains no acids and no retinoids, and the full ingredient list is on this page for your doctor.
No. It is fragrance-free and grit-free.
Papain comes from papaya and bromelain from pineapple, and both can matter for some allergies. That is a question for your allergist, with the ingredient list in hand.

Acids make me red. This does not. Three minutes, rinse, and my skin feels smooth with no stinging at all.

I use it the morning of anything where I am wearing makeup. Foundation goes on much more evenly.

It is very mild. I see a difference in smoothness but if you are used to strong acids you may want more. That is probably the point of it.

I gave up scrubs years ago. This gives me the smooth feeling without the scratching.

Love the product. The last few uses are hard to get out of the tube without cutting it open.

On the weeks I skip the mandelic I use this once. Keeps things even.

It worked, but it felt slightly tight for a minute after rinsing until I moisturized. I think I left it on closer to five minutes, so stick to three.
